A final good-bye

Well, the time had come to say goodbye. We have been around for over a year and yet we hung in there enough to enjoy the pride of surviving that long. But we cannot survive any longer. We have not been growing at all lately and I feel as if I’m talking to myself. I’ve been leading this army for over a year and It’s been an amazing experience, but nothing can last forever. I still remember creating a wordpress account and making this site. I still remember recruiting each and every one of you into this army and fighting along side all of you. I remember the pointless color wars on chat when we were bored. I remember when all of you would fight over who could comment on every post more. I remember the constant random conversations we would have on the random comments page. I remember fighting BCP. I remember when we got our first full chat. As you can see I remember a lot xD … But more than half those things are gone now and the spirit in this army has died. The spirit used to be like a huge burning fire, but now it’s a tinsy binsy little piece of burnt wood. We have had our time to shine, but it passed and now it is time to move on. I thought that maybe one day I could lead this army to glory and make it the #1 army. But I wasn’t a strong enough leader to make it there. I know I was a good leader, but not good enough to lead this army all the way to the top. But as one random hobo out there once said: “The strongest of all may not succeed”. So yea we didn’t succeed, but we had success (If that even makes sense). We did rise up into nearly the top ten. We did survive a whole year, when most armies can’t even survive a month. We did get full chats once. We did defeat other armies. We did what many armies never had the opportunity to do. I am proud to have called this my army and I am glad to have led this army. I hope everyone of you are proud to call yourself a member of the cheese army too. Now if you were wondering about me as a person, yes this is also my retirement from all club penguin armies (This does not mean xat!). I will still be on Elites chat to talk with some of you from time to time. I will not be on as often as I usually was, because I have a lot more to accomplish in life xD …. As for my penguin, well my penguin is over 1300 days old now and is a pretty rare penguin. I will not be banning my penguin forever as some people do when they leave club penguin and I will not be giving my penguin away. I’m the kind of person that likes to leave things for later. So maybe one day when I’m an old person I’ll go on club penguin and be like 5000 days old xD … Now usually now someone would make that long list of good-byes to people but since I’m still gonna be on chats that’s kinda be useless because I’ll still be able to talk to you guys….. I guess that’s it.

Remember: Forever and ever, no matter what happens, I will always be a cheese.

Well, as you’ve seen, there hasn’t been a new post in awhile… that’s cause there’s nothing to post about. I was dreading the moment I would have to say this but this army is close to dead. The chat is almost always empty,no one has commented in 3 days, and were only getting about 20 site views per day. Unless everyone starts stepping up to the plate and recruiting and this army magically grows bigger suddenly (Which I seriously doubt will happen) I am going to be closing down this army in the next couple weeks…and this time it’s for good. You may say “Gorge, don’t give up, we can still survive!” . But I’m sorry, I just can’t take this anymore. Pretty soon I’ll be talking to myself on this site, and that would be kinda lame. I’m tired of the empty chats. I’m tired of the lazy people. And I’m tired of club penguin. This army used to be fun for me and I would try hard to get on the computer everyday. But now it’s just plain old boring. I don’t want to make this post too long because I want to save some of the things I have to say for the closing post, but please don’t beg me not to shut down this army, because I’m not going to listen. Sometime In between May 11-15 I will be closing down this army. Enjoy your last few days…And once again. I’m sorry to have to close this down.

Well, we lost as you can tell by the title… but it was just a PB and we had fun so I wouldn’t worry too much… We had about 6-9 people on cp at a time while they had about 15 xD …. So yea, I’m glad we didn’t end up with 2 people cause that would be kind f embarrassing…. In the end we put up a good fight, but they just had too many people..So enough of this boring talk heres some of the pics I took:

finally something to do…. I got a practice battle with the Roman Fire Warriors… They are basically about the same size as us, maybe a little bit bigger but it will finally be something to do…. So enough of this boringness… here’s the info:

Day: Sunday, May 2nd

Time: 1:00 PST, 2:00 MST, 3:00 CST, and 4:00 EST

Server: Snow Shoe

Place: Snow Forts

Reward: A promo if you show up and actually go on clubpenguin…..

So yea I hope you all don’t forget and we end up with 2 people on…. so try to remember xD

Gorge Edit: Well, guys our stats have gone down he toliet. Literally from about 200 views a day to bout 40 -.- …. seriously guys I know you can do better just try….

Well, apparently, I’m bored…. So, what should we do?!!?!? I mean seriously, all we do now, is talk on chat with me constantly bugging you guys to recruit ….An army is meant to be fun, but this is gettin pretty boring! So we need to do something! I mean, we could schedule a training, but usually only like 3 people show up to those and they completely fail…. I could schedule a recruiting, but those also usually fail, and I would rather just recruit when alot of people are on chat… So what’s left to do? Well, there’s war, but I don’t see any reasons to declare war…There’s practice battles but most of our allies are dead and I don’t really know any other armies that are about our size…. So what CAN we do? (And no this is not a rhetorical question, I really don’t know -.- )……For now I guess, we need to stick to recruiting and trying to get bigger… And that brings up another matter ….

Recruiting. And no, I’m not giving a speech about it, I’ve done enough of those and they seem not to affect half of you. I have to NAG you guys to recruit when your on chat…. I think that’s sad… I mean really, you guys should be recruiting on your own without my help (your big kids I think you can recruit without me there )…. So why is it necessary for me to bug you guys to recruit (and even then half of you don’t listen)…. So just listen up, you either choose to help make us bigger, or not. If your too lazy to recruit, it’s not my problem, and I’m not gonna bug you about it anymore. I’ll ask once on chat and if you don’t want to help, I don’t care. Just remember, we will never get big if we never recruit…. And no this is not considered a speech xD

Heyy, its Molly.

But I can’t believe it’s finally Cheese Army’s 1 year anniversary! It feels like just yesterday I was making a “welcome to this site” post. I still remember when molly joined and when sky joined, and when add joined and pablo, and dan, and dog, and amy… I could probably keep going until my fingers fell off but I still have the rest of this post to type! I can’t believe how big we’ve grown since I created this army. I had absolutely no idea that we would end up one of the armies that didn’t fall and hung in there. Most armies fall be for 1 year, but no we are still here and are growing EVERY day! (Well almost every day)…. And I am STILL hoping to be a major army one day (Well, eventually…) and I know we can become one at this rate. We just have to keep recruiting, keep being active and commenting, and keep up our awesomeness …. And no, we are not even close to a “big” army but we have the chance to get there. Right now we have that chance, that many armies don’t. We have the opportunity to grow, and yes recruiting is boring (I think it’s an annoying task too) but without it, we will fall into the dust and crumple to little pieces that will be stamped on by other armies and eaten by man eating alpacas…. Do you want that to happen? xD …. So let’s keep up the recruiting and the hard work and I KNOW we will grow. Wait how the heck did I start talking about recruiting on our 1st anniversary post -_- ….. Ok, so to move back to the 1st anniversary topic that I somehow left… Well, as I said before, I cannot believe that we are one of the armies that survived this long! (It must be cause we have such an awesome leader ) But to celebrate I have special thing planned…. recruiting!…. juust kidding, I’m not that mean……So for the 1st year anniversary I will be scheduling a party/get togther thingy mabober… Just so everyone can get on chat at the same time and talk… So heres the info:

Well, I’m trying to keep this, posting alot more thing up so, yea I’m gonna be posting a lot more …. So now the couple of reasons for this post:

Reason 1: Well, first of all, I realized that without training sessions and scheduled recruiting for a while, we are gonna be completely bored …. So I need some idea’s for cool things we can do that won’t be boring and won’t fail. It can be absolutely ANY suggestion, and could be ANY way to make this small span of time where we are just trying to get bigger a little less boring… So comment now or I kill you

Reason 2: People have not really been commenting a lot on posts or pages so the web site seems a little dead….So you people who actually DO comment, start reminding people when there are new posts so they can comment. And for those of you read the post and don’t comment, I’m going to assume that unless you comment on the post, you haven’t read it. So start commenting already…

Reason 3: MY third reason is obvious…. To make a post

Reason 4: Be nice to the new people…even if they scare you… You were all new at one time and I had to deal with all of you xD …. So be nice

Reason 5: What what was I gonna put here again..?

Well, the recruiting weekend resulted in 1 recruit (Yea, only one). And 1/20 of an penguins you recruit will be active so most likely, we didn’t gain anything…I only saw one other person other than me recruiting. And recruiting doesn’t mean sitting in the town doing nothing on the server we chose. It means actually saying “Look up clubenguin cheese army on line”. A lot of you were too lazy to even go on club penguin… I mean cmon guys, you can do better than that…I’m only giving out 1 promo for this recruiting, and that person knows they recruited. And no I’m not telling you guys who it was xD …. But for now on I will be making random unscheduled recruiting sessions when a lot of people are on chat.. so be ready and stop being so lazy -_-
